An architecture and implementation methods were evolved for a multiAgent based tourist emergency alert system. A multilayer architecture was applied in the system to manage the Agents efficiently. Computing tasks were distributed to each agent, greatly improving computing efficiency as well as the reliability of the whole system. Java platform, enterprise edition (Java EE) technology was used in the implementation of the agent architecture. Testing with a source capacity algorithm verified the feasibility and practicality of the architecture.
