  Deyi LI is the honorary president of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Fellow of International Eurasian Academy of Sciences. He has been engaged in the research of artificial intelligence with uncertainty, cognitive science, knowledge engineering, and autonomous driving for a long time. He implemented the world¡¯s first triple-link inverted pendulum balancer, which was able to dynamically balance its position adapted to the environmental change. He conducted China¡¯s first successful self-driving effort on a highway with a high-speed car and was the first to realize autonomous trial operation of city buses, as well as for self-driving heavy-duty trucks in port operations. He is a pioneer of artificial intelligence with uncertainty, an active leader of the Chinese autonomous driving industry, and also a promoter for the development of China¡¯s AI and robotics industry.
