This paper deals with the problem of robust and nonfragile H∞ control via s tate feedback for linear discretetime systems with timedelay and normbound ed parametric uncertainties by using a method of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Both the gain perturbations of the controller and the uncertain terms of the sy stem are timevarying and normbounded with linear fractional form. Moreover, the gain perturbations of the controller are considered to be either additive or multiplicative. Sufficient conditions for the existence of a robust and nonfr agile controller are given in terms of LMI, so the resulting closedloop system is robustly stable and attains a certain H∞ attenuation level. A numerical e xample is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.
